Seriously......i like AA...picked him to get AD down the stretch and indeed wanted him to win....however this was a clear cut DQ.....AD slipped....was down, AA looked at him and decided to tee off in frustration....





look at Dirrel's neck snap to the side......does anyone on here even know that the brain sends a signal to the body to shut down when the neck is shocked in that manner.....that is why that innocuous looking punch from Wlad nearly killed Chambers.......


All the little girls on here should stop crying and just give AD credit.......by all accounts he put on a clinic.....why are all the posters from the UK and the rest of Europe trying to turn this into a USA vs Europe argument????......it's not.....it's boxer vs boxer and Dirrell won end of story......


This reminds me of the sad and pathetic bitching the was going on all over the internet when PBF gave Hatton a lesson and KO'd him.....people think Hatton lost because Joe Cortez didn't allow Hatton to "in fight".....or that the ring post KO'd Hatton...like it had nothing to do with getting hit flush repeatedly.....

I agree with everything you said, except - I've seen more American posters turning it into this with the "AA is a typical Euro bum", "America dominates again" type stuff. Although, I don't doubt that some British/Europeans are doing the same, just thought I'd throw that out.

Yeah, I was gunna throw that out there, but I couldn't be bothered . AA is a good fighter, no doubt, and anyone saying he's a bum is just demeaning what their man just did. AA isn't just a puncher either, he has a very good, strong jab, which Dirrell totally took away from him so he couldn't set any power shots up, he had to jump in with them. Dirrell fought very well and it was a very good win even though it came in a bit of an anticlimactic way.

he will be ok....in boxing it is generally much better to get obliterated by one big punch than get worn down with a few hundred and then get KO'd at the end.......repeated blunt force trauma generally worse than one big KO blow.........
