          have you ever boxed in your life? if your looking for optimum power where does your fist start off at? below your waist, if you actually boxed and was thought proper technique you would figure this out on your own

            Yes I have boxed.

            When you punch at waist level, it is an arm punch and it's very hard to get your body twsiting into it.

            When you punch higher, you can use your whole body.

            Go and watch some punches like that at WAIST level.

            If you bend your body and punch low, but it is not at waist level, then ofcourse you can get power.
