he was not in a squat. you need to watch the replay again. the ref doesnt have to stop the action. its boxing 101 that you cant hit a fighter who's on the canvas.

Big difference: Gloves are not on the canvas. Dirrell WAS on his knee. What fight did you watch? Also, your analogy really puzzles me. So because Haye got away with it so should Abraham? Let alone that Haye didn't do anything wrong there. Piss off...

dirrell did show a good chin in this fight. he ate some good punches.
That was by far the most solid shot he took all night. The rest hit him while he was backing up and AA wasnt able to follow through. I really have no problem with you I just want to know why Carnivore thinks AA shouldnt be DQed for landing a punch causing injury while a man is down.

no it wasnt. he got hit with some very good rights in the 10th. much better than that illegal arm punch.

i was skeptical to begin with because of how it all looked and now with everything coming back negative there is no way i buy that.

It didn't cause an injury, for one thing - Dirrell was acting. And he was bending low all night when Abraham had him near the ropes. Abraham probaly thought in that instant it was just more of the same.

Abraham was a bit frustrated, because the ref didn't count his previous knockdown, and let Dirrell hit him when he spoke to the ref about low blows. Cole protected Dirrell by stopping the action when Abraham had him trapped on the ropes in the corner.

Why wasn't Haye DQ against Fragomeni? I've always wondered. He hit him TWICE after he went all the way down, not just down to a squat like Dirrell, but actually sitting on the canvas.

Abraham was frustrated that he was in there with a better boxer, he got himself DQ'd as a result.

Dirrell made him look foolish all night, knocking him down twice (second time he was saved by the ropes).

Abraham is a disgrace, I don't know how anyone could be a fan of his after tonight.

But Andre Dirrell just tested negative.

If he were really knocked out cold with a twitching leg, disorientation afterwards and all that, the test result would have shown at least a mild concussion.

But tests showed he's perfectly okay.

He's a good actor, except he didn't do the twitching leg part correctly.
well of course they both got knocked out. for real.
