    Hatton over Tszyu?

    TSZYU-HATTON SHOWDOWN AN UPSET?

MANCHESTER GEARS UP FOR JUNIOR WELTER WAR!

Live this Saturday from the MEN Arena in Manchester, England, there will be questions asked and truths exposed as World junior welterweight champion Kostya Tszyu (31-1, 25 KO's) faces off with top-five contender and local hero Ricky Hatton (38-0, 28 KO's). Some are calling it a mismatch, viewing the challenger as a protected fighter built primarily against faded opposition. Others see it as a test of what Tszyu has left in the tank with only three fights in the last three and a half years and two major injury layoffs.

did you write that article 24karat? i've heard those points before. the way i see it the more powerfull art of boxing displaying tszyu who can make adjustments after any round will expose the padded record, second tier, wide looping punch throwing hatton worst and quicker than berrara did to prince naseem. this tszyu has seen everything against faster and more powerfull opponents. yes hatton showd he had a good chin against eammon magee. but magee don't have the power of a tszyu. and magee knocked hatton down and even helped hatton win by playing the irish martyr and putting his hands down to his side and sticking his chin out. there's talk of hatton staying away from tszyu in the first few rounds then coming alive with his" fast paced workrate" later.tszyu has seen it all and will dictate the pace throwing power straight down the shoot if hatton trys to fight his fight. its probable that the hometown ref will be swayed by hattons fans to keep him in there to long.the punches he took from eammon and others and the punches he's going to take from kostya spells trouble later on in life for the best europe has to offer.

tszyu is a fresher 36 year old boxer.never been in a war. only had to fight a handfull of rounds to win in the last couple years. he's not religated by age like hopkins is to slowly stalk his opponents and throw single punches at consice times.

i feel tszyu went for this easy fight for the money and will use this as a reputable tuneup fight for chances at bigger money belt holding opponents.

Hatton's biggest test in his carreer. Should he win, it wouldn't surprise me. Should Tszyu win, wouldn't surprise me either. This could be Hatton's coming out party (win or lose), kinda like how Pacquiao came into the limelight when he defeated Barrera.

Yeah, I wrote this. I think he looks like a fresh 35 because of his foes. Not hard to look fresh against other 30 year olds. Hatton has been logging lots of rounds the last few years, staying sharp. he's young and hungry. Gotta' go with youth here.

wow, okay.i can see that. your quote is like similar to what i've been saying about the hopkins/taylor fight.
hatton staying sharp against second tier brawlers? great tuneups i guess.hows hattons defense? most european style don't fight with a defense unless you consider sven ottkes style of jabbing and running.hatton don't do that. the wide looping punches hatton throws. you think he's mayorga power and can pull that off against a veteran skilled boxer tszyu? i hope the ref doesnt let it go to far.

I don't see him as Mayorga like at all. Hatton has a solid jab and great head movement. he also has quick feet for a face first guy.
