Easy...AA was closing in---started to land vicious shots...Dirrell was thinking "what the hell am I takin' these shots for? I'm a slick boxer--I shouldn't be getting hit like this. I'm still young; I'm ahead in the scorecards and the people will understand it....I'll fake it now."

Why would you entertain these bias pieces of ****s?

Dirrell was bawling cuz he thought he had gotten legitamitely KTFO and had to be told by his people and reminded (because he didn't even believe them) that he had actually won the fight after getting hit while on the ground.

Dirrell was on his way to winning the fight and got knocked out by an illegal punch by a frustrated opponent trying to rally. End of.

Exactly.Dirrel got hit with a punch he did`nt see coming which is the most devastating punch. On top of that he got hit by a big puncher.

Or he got hit by an incredibly hard puncher when in a position where he couldn't minimize the impact of the shot in anyway and was seriously hurt.

Dirrell fought a great fight. Abraham should have known coming in that he'd have to be active a bit earlier because Dirrell was much quicker and more elusive to hit than anybody he'd ever faced before. Instead he fought Dirrell like he fought everyone in the past and this hurt him quite a bit.

I watched the fight and I have to say I thought Dirrell was acting immediately. I felt this way for two main reasons. To start off with Abraham hit Dirrell in his jaw but Dirrell put his glove up to his temple area and acted as if the blow landed their instead. Even after he got back to his dressing room they were icing his temple area when he clearly got hit in his lower left jaw. Secondly, was my opinion of Dirrell's delayed response after he got hit. Specifically the way Dirrell started to shake as if he was convulsing after getting hit. This was very strange because if you get hit hard enough to convulse you do it immediately. Dirrell didn't start to convulse right away. You can get hit and have a delayed reaction (because your equilibrium is off) and then fall out but you don't get hit and have a delayed reaction and then start to convulse. When someone gets hit hard enough to shake they are truly ****ed up and it happens right away. You don't see someone get hit like Dirrell did, lie down with his hands on his head and then start to twitch 8-10 seconds later. This was bull****. Dirrell fought a great fight but he was tired, knew he would win on the DQ and chose to act at the end.

What Abraham did (fouling out of frustration) was bad and he deserved the DQ. Good fight nonetheless and the drama that has occurred so far in this tournament really makes me want to see who will prevail in the end...

BS, he thought about it for a second before he went down to the canvas.
his actions after the punnch were completely inconsistent with someone getting KO'd.
abraham was rightfully dq'd though. abraham got beat and he lost the fight by committing the foul. dirrell didnt have to act, but he did and it was pathetic.

you gotta love the irony, he was taking such huge, vicious, monstrous shots but was ahead on the score cards in round 11 about 6 minutes away from celebrating the asswhooping he gave out but he decided to fake being knocked out instead.
