This fight was full of wonders. .
Ok so I got home after watchin the st. pierre vs hardy ppv. So I catched this fight on the replay.
A bunch of disputable stuff went on this fight.
That one KD by Abraham on Dirrell shoulda been counted.
Abraham gets cut and the doctor, instead of just wipping and checking it, he cleans it and puts pressure on it trying to stop the bleeding.
Notice that wasnt the first time Dirrell slipped in the corner. It happened earlier, Cole stopped the fight and wipped that area with a towel. End of the fight comes, Dirrell slips in the same exact spot.
Arthur Abraham hits Dirrell when he is down following that slip, boom KTFO. AA gets hit with a DQ. At first I said, "oh come on ref he didnt mean that" Then I see the replay 3 more times and realize, AA saw Dirrell fall to the ground, and still threw the punch. At that point I say " haha come on Abraham you know better than to do that **** bud!"
In the end, I felt bad for both fighters. For Dirrell because, you know nobody wants to win by DQ, especially when that dq was you getting iced.
For Abraham because, I got to admit it, he was getting owned for 3/4 of the fight but he started to come back and had a chance especially with the shots he landed, but he perhaps got a bit frustrated and finaly saw dirrell open when he slipped and threw the hook.
