It doesn't change the fact that AA still punched Dirrell when he was on his knee and defenceless. I mean, it's not even close, Dirrell was on his knee even before AA started to throw the punch, it's not like Dirrell was still on his way down. And a late hit as obvious as that is worthy of a DQ. I don't think Dirrell faked it, but irrespective, from a power puncher like AA a late hit like that can be very dangerous. It was the correct call.
Even if you think Dirrell was faking...or AA would have KO'd him later....

I agree, it was totally obvious that Dirrell was down on one knee and Abraham looked at him. Plus like i said in a thread.. Dirrell is 6'2 and Abraham couldnt tell he was on his knee? Get outta here. -
It was a totally correct call on the DQ, no excuses.
No way Dirrell was faking that either, he was completely out of it. It annoys the hell outta me that there are so many people allowed in the ring after fights, especially when there's someone hurt. The guy clearly needed some space and no one even took any notice, especially his own team shouting in his face.
Abraham's mistake, just when the KO looked like it was coming he does that. Shame, couldve been a very interesting finish.Comment
