Yes but it's not an excuse, if you really like the sport of boxing, you still can watch boxing fights in the internet or buy dvds.

I was too young to watch Sugar Ray, so i watched tapes of him. Boxing fans are supposed to know the best guys in their sport. If they don't, they're not boxing fans. Most of all they don't have the right to talk about boxing, since they don't know **** about it.

People saying Floyd is a boring fighter don't know a lot about boxing. He had lackluster performances( DLH, Baldomir) but most of his career is action packed.

You rarely see people operate with the level of technical skill he displays and I am a big lover of technical fighters.

I am also entertained by his **** talking. I like a lot of different styles, but I get bored of the old humble act.

I enjoy watching his skills in the ring. He's had some stinkers, but even then I can usually enjoy the little things he does here and there in those particular fights. The way he went to the corner, slipped some of Vargas's shots, and then dropped him with a body shot. The uppercuts against Baldomir, defensive moves against Marquez, etc...

If I cared that much about personality, well I'd hate some of the other fighters that I really like watching fight (Tyson, Corrales, Robinson, Leonard, etc..)

Sometimes a fighter's personality can make me dislike him, but it's rare.

Great vid anyway I just think Mayweather is one of the best fighters I've seen most def. I love 1 punch KO's as much as the next guy but some of the stuff he does you don't see that often.

To be fair....the same thing can be said about Pacquiao.

Floyd has a lot of fans because time after time he gets into the ring with guys that are bigger names and have more fans, and embarrasses the **** out of them. Gatti, De la Hoya, Hatton, and JMM most of all.

You fanboys talk about how hes a real boxer but hes like watching a benard hopkins-winky wright fight. Now he does have skills but thats why people are so critical of him he never walks the walk. credit the victory to hatton and de la hoya but after that what happend? He retires and thinks he walks away on top. no cotto, margarito, shane, all those fights would defintaly make me belive he was the best. Instead he talks talks talks talks and the potshots. Where is the dynamic combo's floyd? why not fight the best? why does it take beating hatton to say your the goat. manny wants floyd floyd has not called out manny publicly other than a gay drugtest thats never happend in pro boxing
im not a fan of his but you have to appreciate his skills. he is a cheater for what he did at the JMM weigh in, and he hasnt fought a proper welterweight for a while. good that he is now at least. He is a **** that talks alot of **** aswell, but i prefer it when boxers bad mouth each other, grudge matches are always best!

Well i need an excuse for those people Lol, Have watch soooo many dvd of fighters from the past and present, And thank also to youtube i could keep up with fights that i havent seen, When i see people who think is Mayweather boring then i realise they only started watching boxing in 2006/2007. So maybe they havent seen past fights and they just base their conclusion on 3 years knowledge of boxing..
