    Today in Germany: Gamboa-Barros, Kretschmann-Bakhtov, JC Gomez-Mazikin

Some interesting fights on this card today.

Steffan Kretschmann tries to avenge his only loss to the smaller but tough journeyman Denis Bakhtov. JC Gomez fights for the first time in a year after losing to Vitali Klitschko, facing the light-punching but otherwise tough Alexey Mazikin.

            Cubans are big in Germany.

And I hope to procure a quality stream for this if anyone has one.

I will dig myself in the interim.

Not really... a lot of the Cubans who defect start out with the German promoters.

JC Gomez was with Universum at the start.

A bunch of the new defectors got on with InterBox I think (which may or may not be German? I don't remember).

The telecast on SAT1 in Germany begins in about two hours, at 5:15 PM Eastern time. They are showing just Gamboa-Barros and one more.

The actual fights should be starting anytime now.
