Watching Hopkins/Tarver(it's on HBO on Demand if anyone's interested) and I've honestly never heard someone give more sound corner advice. And as good as the advice he gives him, the manner in which he delivers it, cool and calm, makes him about as good of a corner man as anyone can have.

Great performance from Hopkins too...you can tell he was fighting kinda cautious, testing the LHW waters out but he really made Tarver look like ****.

You not in a minority, I never thought those two would be able to work together and Roach telling Hopkins to retire after the fight because he forgot which corner he was suppose to go made me think they shouldnt work together.

naazim is good i must admit...gave hopkins sound advice, especially when he told nard to go toe to toe with taylor...too bad hopkins didn't follow the advice...

The good thing is what Hopkins did in his fight after being told by Roach to retire.Just proves how much of an expert Roach is.
