He has 300+ amateur fights and handled Diaz pretty easily. That said, he wastes too much energy for a boxer that doesn't have that big punch. He's always moving and throwing, if you do that nonstop the way he does, it's going to show up in the later rounds.

He might win the fight if he can get Maidana's respect, but MM seems to have a short term memory and just gets relentless when he wants to get off. Maidana will probably knock him out as soon as Cayo gets tired. If Cayo is somehow able to not get tired, then he has a good chance at winning.
