Well, regardless of what you think (personally I agree with you), he still has a red L next to that fight, and he always will. So, on paper at least, he's a prospect with a very modest amount of fights/experience, with a loss already.

Additionally, I see most people picking AA to win. The logic being AA has faster hands, is more calculating that Froch, has a better chin etc, so will catch Dirrell at some point (I disagree with this, but it seems to be the majority vote).

AA moved up in weight as well to be in the tourney. So that would add to his lb/lb cred.

Are you really accusing someone else of being biased?

KO's? If Abraham beats Dirrell even by decision, he is a P4P fighter period.

If he beats Dirrell he would have wins over Edison Miranda twice, Jermain Taylor, Eastman and Andre Dirrell on top of that undefeated with 10 title defenses at Middleweight, and two of the top names at 168 lbs (Taylor & Dirrell). The guy would also remain on the top of the scoreboard in the supersix competition if he beats Dirrell and has a status as one of the hardest punchers P4P in the sport.

However this is a tough fight for him and a fight I could see him losing, but lets see...Abraham deserves to be on the P4P list than guys like Caballero and Donaire (What has he done except Darchinyan?)

Hopkins Slick? Sure whatever you say. Sweat Pea, Roy Jones Jr. now those were slick American slick fighters. Fighters that would stand in front of you hit you and not get hit.

Credit to Ward for what headbutting and hugging kessler to victory. All he did was tag Kessler then hug and headbutt him when he was about to get off. That's not boxing thats just being boring and cheating.

The fighters you mentioned are not slick they are just plain boring. These hug and run tactics employed by these fighters should have absolutely no place in the sport of boxing. Floyd pre Gatti used to be a joy to watch now he's turned into a safety first potshotting machine. Now Direll is just **** and I'm hoping to God he gets his ass brutally knocked out tonight.

****** thread. Even if you think Dirrel got robbed against Froch, he still didn't dominate him and Dirrel is a weak link in this tourney I think. I'd pick Kessler, Green, and Ward to beat him easily. I like Abraham and I'm a fan. But he shouldn't get that much credit if he beats Dirrel. The funny thing is though at the same time, I think it's possible Dirrel might outpoint him by stinking the joint out. It doesn't make me think anything less of Abraham. I just view it as a style thing. I don't know how his low workrate style matches up against a guy with a gay stray cat running style.

I'd pick Abraham to beat Kessler and Froch regardless though. I just think it's possible Dirrel may be a bad style match up for Abraham even though I don't think highly of Dirrel.

as far as Abe goes, I agree that if he puts Dirrell to sleep he gets a spot in the top dime.....then he can bone all the top dimes like the ones in Animal's avi!!
