well I will say this. He probably doesnt have much prime left but that doesnt mean he still wont be a beast. I think Floyd may be past his prime some but he can still dominate, just like MJ on the Bulls when he was past his. Its not like he's just going to completely fall off. He will just inch his way down.

In regards to his face, I think that is a seperate matter. He also was busted up against Cotto. Like jro said, he's not a defensive Wizard and he's fighting bigger guys but I do think alot of it also has to do with what Floyd said about Hatton. Remember Floyd saying that Hatton needs to retire because his face is getting busted up alot which means he now has alot of scar tissue and it will only get worst. This goes the the TS point. I think you may truly see Pac's face look busted up more & more in each fight which in some regards should make him retire because of all the scar tissue

Clottey is in no way feather fisted and he was a big guy who is around 160 on fight night.

But yeah Pac is taking more punches these days and from bigger guys, that is going to take a lot out of him. And now that he has been up there for a while he will be staying at 140+ I dont see him going back to 135 ever. Even if he could make it, it wouldnt be as marketable as the higher weights.

i don't agree with the reasoning, but i do agree pac's due to fall off unless he retires soon. that high energy style doesn't have a lot of shelf time. assloads of punches+usain bolt footwork just isn't something you can do til you're 40.

Good post. I am not knocking Pacquiao at all I just think that his face getting all busted is a sign of things to come in his career.

What an idiot the thread starter is.
The face is the most sensitive area on the body (after the private parts)
Any hit in the face, even a single one, can cause a black eye, bruise, etc.
Another example is the beating that Vitali K. gave the joker Kevin Johnson, but after the fight it was Vitali who had the most bruises on his face, cause Kevin landed 2-3 punches cleanly the whole fight, but they made a mark in Vitali's face, doesn't mean anything.
A little kid can give you a black eye, I seen it myself when a 6 months old punched his dad right in the eye

You should try and realize how much of a joke you actually are.

                    Decline regarding age, No.
                    Decline regarding career, Yes.

Pac will have some more chances to show that his PEDs are da best in this business, until PBF will end his career bigtime.
