Let's just put it this way. Mosley basically ruined Cotto. Are you 100% sure that fight would've went toward Cotto's favor if it had been out west? I'm not.

Man, are you kidding me? Mosley did nothing to Cotto, and while he hit Cotto a lot, Cotto came out looking 100% fine save for the small cut that happened late in the 12th from a headbutt.

The sharpest Cotto has ever looked was against Gomez...and I know it was Gomez but that has nothing to do with how sharp he looked. He also looked great in the Margarito fight he just fought like a ****** and got beat down.

Mosley took absolutely nothing away from Cotto. And Cotto clearly won the fight. It is a general consensus that it was a close clear decision, and if you think Mosley won the fight then you don't know how to score a fight. There was no controversy in that fight you are just blinded by hate no matter how much you try and act like you aren't. Period.

I think Manny will help out, but it's really too late.. Cotto should of hired Manny a long time ago when Emmanuel showed interest when he and Evangelista parted ways. If Cotto took him on before the Clottey fight, Cotto would have been a much greater fighter. He would not have taken those beatings he took against Clottey and Manny and he would have had that coaching from Emmanuel for some time now instead of him coming in fresh now.

But I guess better late than never.. I hope Manny and rejuvenize him, he got torn up bad in the Pacquiao fight and he came in excellent shape. He lost that fire he once had IMO.

same thing in my mind bro. Cotto of old would've fought back after the 4th round knockdown against pac. But what happened was, he became cowardly. Definetely from the margarito fight. Pac would've been in big trouble if cotto was still fighting the same way as the 1st 4 rounds of their fight. The cotto of the 1st 4 rounds against pac was the best cotto I've ever seen, but after that knockdown in round 4, he was having flashbacks of the margarito fight and became cowardly. Hope Steward rejuvenates him like most of the fighters he's trained.

Morel is a child ******or who got a gift decision over poor old Pen who could use a payday against Jorge Arce more than he probably could. Lopez is a diva who thinks that he should get a million dollar payday against every top fighter he faces. These are just my opinions and how I feel. Nothing about them being Rican.

It's an old story that was released on this site back in 08. I might have to dig it up. Floyd didn't help matters any by retiring I know. But Cotto didn't express any interest in the fight.

I don't think that exists man. Maybe out of context. There are many articles on this very site where Cotto expresses his desire to fight Floyd.

Granted he's not vehement about it, but that's just not his style. He clearly states he wants the fight, but then says things like "I can't make him fight me so I'm not gonna let it bother me and I'm gonna move on".
