And, yea Gonzalez left hand is no joke. You saw what it did to Niida right? dude has freakish power for that weight.

I tried to find some info on the Garcia-Joyi fight...probably just didn't look hard enough. Yeah, Roman battered Niida. I really want to see Roman against the best though, and maybe even a move up in weight if it suits him. He is highly skilled; no doubt about it.

I've been saying this to jrosales as well.

Gonzalez needs to go back to fighting top level strawweights like Niida and Takayama. He just had a soft touch, and Hernandez (who he was supposed to fight) was another.

Gonzalez has come out and said it's difficult for him to make 105 these days. He wants to fight 3-4 times a year, as it's easier for him to make the weight when he fights more often. I suspect he'll move up soon.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Hey, did you by any chance see his countryman, Juan Palacios fight against Oleydong Sithsamerchai? I saw on Boxrec that it was a MD for Oleydong but was wondering if you had any objective analysis to offer up if you did indeed see the fight. Thanks.

I actually just recently downloaded the fight. I got it another site. I haven't watched it yet though.

There's a copy of it on youtube. But the rounds are cut short and it's poor quality.
