Havent seen much of Mosley at LW, only his fights at WW and above, where he tends to hit and hold alot.

Hopkins at his peak didn't hold.He has spent the last few years holding because he is older and lazy.At his peak,Hopkins was a busy, consistent fighter who mixed his offense on both the inside and outside.

Mike Tyson was never an inside fighter.

Hopkins at his peak is possibly the best inside fighter in the game has seen after JCC.

In recent times, the level of inside fighting is pathetic IMO. Castillo was excellent (wonder where he picked that up lol...). Mayweather showed absolute inside fighting excellence against Hatton.

          Toney of course...

Vazquez gets hit too much to be comparable with the above, but his offensive inside game is excellent IMO. This is it for active fighters, I think.

Going back in time, well... Duran, Hagler, JC, Marciano, Moore, Charles, Saddler (and Pep too)... to name only a few. Inside fighitng seemed to be a more common art in the past.

I know I am forgetting someone important in both active and all time, but I am sleepy.

Hatton hits and holds, which isnt the same thing.

Just watch some of his old fights, he was an amazing inside fighter but of course now he holds a little more because he got old but still a good inside fighter.
