Is Manny Steward still wasting his time on Cintron? The guy does have the potential to be exiting everytime he shows up. He can punch like hell, and has also been hurt a number of times. Someone is going down, maybe even both of them, if Martinez dropped Pwill, so can Cintron. At the end of the night though, I see Pwill as the winner. I dont think it will go the distance.

I think Sergio's ability to hurt PWill had more to do with him throwing shots that PWill had trouble seeing....not that Cintron is slow but his speed is not on Sergio's level and I tend to think he will be on the back foot for most of the fight which will take some of the pop out of his shots.

Why didn't being on the back foot lessen Sergio's? Simple, he is used to fighting like that, just like Floyd and unlike Cotto who similar to Cintron is used to opponents overly concerned about his power which PWill won't be.

paul better win cuz this is a step down fight for pwill, he has nothing to gain and everything to lose by fighting cintron. if he loses it will be back to when he lost to quintana and if he wins, well he beat a guy that sergio and margarito already ko'd. hbo is ****** they would've been better off with paul vs sergio rematch. they couldve hyped it up from the first fight which was a entertaining, close fight. (imo martinez won) instead they put paul in with cintron and sergio in with pavlik. sergio got the better fight even thou he was robbed of a decision.

Williams offered Martinez a rematch for good money and Martinez turned it down. And outside of that one outrageous scorecard, Williams fought hard enough to earn the victory. Martinez even admitted in a recent interview on Fight News that he didn't mind Williams winning the fight. Williams won the last round and closed the fight out stronger while Martinez was exhausted.

If you want to make an argument of where Paul is acting like a big shot then the Pavlik aspect you have an argument with. And you're right. Martinez will gain more leverage over Williams once he beats Pavlik. I've even said I don't really care about the Cintron fight that much even though I'll tune in. Williams is expected to win and Cintron is considered another opponent.
