Tarver and Johnson are natural and tough LHWs, whilst Froch is a SMW who was hurt by a MW in Taylor. Dawson is more than capable of stopping someone as defensively lacking as Froch.

I have no doubt that Dawson would win almost every round on the scorecards. But he hasn't show that he has the power to stop good fighters. His last stoppage was against Mendoza. Froch at least has a punchers chance though. I can see this fight playing out like Dirrell vs Froch, except Dawson will be winning rounds on the backfoot, rather than losing them.
