Will Tyson Be Inducted His First Year OR Wait Down The Line?

Do you guys think Tyson will be inducted into the Hall Of Fame on his first shot at it or will he be voted in years down the road?

        it's pathetic .
since his personal life has anything to do with the sport of boxing .
just put the man on the hall of fame and quit bitching about his real life for fucks sake.

the media worries so much about celebrity's personal lifes than anything.

Mike Tyson is one fo the most overrated fighters of all time. His resume isnt very good. His best win and last revelent was Michael Spinks in 1988. He went nearly 20 years beating up C level fighters and losing to A fighters during that span.

Pre Michael Spinks he beat guys like Frank Bruno, Pinklon Thomas, Razor Ruddock, etc. Those were all just tough guys not world class athletes.

I'd still put him in first ballot though because in his prime he annihalated who was put in front of him for the most part.

Youngest heavyweight champ of all time.
              Unified the heavyweight division twice.
              Beat Spinks and Holmes.

                Heh, don't blame him.
he fought anybody put infront of him, most of the world class champions back then were scared to even fight him.

First Ballot, unless they do the personal life bs, he was a household name in the 80s, maybe even still today, and lets not forget the success of Mike Tyson's punch out.

I hope you're not specifically talking about him compiling wins at the beginning of his career over club fighters, considering nearly all fighters do that.

He fought plenty of top fighters. Of his 12 title fight wins, 9 of them were against top 10 ranked fighters. The other 3 happened to be against Holmes (HOF/former lineal champion), Bruno (future champion) and Tubbs (former champion).

Pre Michael Spinks he beat guys like Frank Bruno, Pinklon Thomas, Razor Ruddock, etc. Those were all just tough guys not world class athletes.
They were all rated in the top 10, when Tyson fought them.
