Or will he fight like a man?
Your thread is biased and politically incorrect, sorry. You fail. Fighting like a man means staying at close quarters to strike with a man that has more power and strength, and has better punches from up close, almost surely setting yourself up to get knocked the **** out? Then I guess half boxers are *******

Anyone defending Dirrell watch from 7-9 minutes on this video and enjoy a whole 2 minute of Dirrell backing away from any kind of physical contact and then having the cheek to grin at Curtis Stevens.

Thats not being elusive, or having a good defence. That is pure running simple as that.

I dont know how anyone can defend or like this Dirrell dude, hes obviously got skills but hes more content to run the whole fight whilst landing just enough punches to steal a fight.

No one is asking him to stand toe to toe and trade, against Froch or AA that would probably kill him, but he has to engage a ****load more if he wants to be taken seriously, theres nothing wrong with fighting on the backfoot all fight (ala Mayweather) but Dirrell fights on the backfoot without actually fighting the whole fight.

I honestly cant comprehend how this guy has a fanbase at all.

AA is a lot less awkward a lot less active, not as long. I expect Dirrell to be pretty calm and sharp early. It's the later rounds we'll have to see.

I know I remember that. It was pathetic. He beat Froch though, and he'll beat Abraham.

Good post. Dirrel's style is horrible to watch, I'd much rather sit and watch paint dry than watching this cat fight. You can be elusive and defensive without being on the backfoot and running at every heated exchange. This is boxing, this ain't a marathon race, you have to fight and engage, not just get away from your opponent and run around the ring like a ****ing idiot. I don't think this fight will be exciting at all, AA although a puncher he's kind of like Clottey, has that shell defense and catches u open, but when he catches you he puts you to sleep. I hope this is the case against Dirrell, I hope he breaks his neck in two.

lol at this poll. boxing would be a boring sport if you could either trade punches or run from your opponent.

yeah, just like he ran from Carl Froch. Why don't you stop trying to pretend like you don't have a not so hidden agenda.
