how good is Yuri Freeman?

i havn't heard much about this kid.... i know he is gonna face cotto, but is yuri a good boxer, i mean is he really a future prospect???

Yuri Foreman, is not too good in my opinion. In his last fight he won an easy but unimpressive UD over Daniel Santos, a champion far past his prime, who looked horrible his fight against Foreman. Foreman uses a hit and run style, and he doesn't punch too hard. We'll see how he does June 5th, but my guess is, we won't see much.

He's decent. Awkward, not overly exciting, not great power. I expect Cotto, even this damaged version, to be too much for him though.

Yuri Foreman easily beat Santos but Santos was definitely past his prime. Cotto, in my opinion, is Foreman's first real test. Now we find out if he's bringing anything to the table.
