    Two questions .......................

How many people subscribe to the notion that you have to take! the title from the Champ? how many of you subscribe to the notion that the guy making thing fight should get subliminal credit?

I think these are dinosaur points of view myself but some! people still abide by them, not me, do you abide by them and take them into consideration when scoring a fight?

Actually fights always used to be scored by who lands more punches, power punches, and the cleaner punches. You have to use intelligent aggression or you are just swinging wildly. In Europe they still score fights this way. That's why a lot of American fighters don't like going overseas. Because they don't give the edge to who presses the fight over there. Giving extra consideration to the aggressor is an American thing and it started not to long ago. I'm sure one of these guys who are older than my 26 years can elaborate more on the subject. Oh and to be the champ you have to beat the champ. I think that's still recognized by most people.

I hate that saying. You have to take the title from the champ.

No, if it's a close, and the challager has won, it should be awared to him. End of.

This is a pretty weak excuse. If you win 7 rounds and the other guy wins 5, the guy who wins 7 rounds wins. Pretty simple.
