maybe cause mma is more of a realistic type of fighting, why do you guys think punching is the only type of fighting...................

that's the whole point. realistic is boring. why do people play video games like world of warcraft? Cus it's more fun than living your boring ass tedious drab life.
In real life people don't box on the street they get into sloppy bar room brawls where they flop around on the floor then pass out. So guess what, the average person given the choice to watch a nasty sloppy event where people flop around on the floor hugging each other like ****sexuals or to watch an artistic and scientific display of passion fury and art all combined into one (boxing) which do you think they'll choose? That's right it's boxing, that's why boxing owns MMA and that's why even a D level bum boxer gets paid ten times more than MMA's biggest star.

i like watching mma, cause its a true fighter showing all his skills, boxing,kickboxing,judo,jujitsu,muay thai.......... etc.

yea but that's the problem is they have no skills. they're jack of all trades master of none because they haven't spent their whole life learning one trade like boxers do. so when you see a boxer you see artistic poetry in motion. when you see an MMA guy do his thing, you see a sloppy snooze fest cus the guy is not a MASTER of any one art but just knows enough of each one to get by. MMA is pure ****.

MMA is a more realistic style of fighting but i do think it's boring when lie on the floor and grapple.

I watched Kimbo against some fat bastard at the ultimate fighter tv series and Kimbo came to fight and the fatass just sat on top of him for a minute until the ref called the fight of. I don't see how anyone could enjoy watching that..

the only thing fedor has mastered is the art of aggression. he's one of the sloppiest strikers I've ever seen and would be brutally killed by any B level journeyman boxer in a boxing match.
Like I said Fedor is fun to watch because he has aggression that's about it, but take that away and what do you get? 99% of the OTHER fighters in MMA, sloppy boring, slow with glass chins. ZZZZzzz.

its also there downfall as fighters, they will be boxing well and then do a flying knee or something ****** and get KTFO. ha thats what happened to roach's guy that he was doing boxing training with. he outboxed fedor and fedor couldn't get him on the ground and then out of no where he tries a fuccking flying knee , and got knocked out in the process.
