How could a fighter suffer the worst beating of his career on November 15th 2003. And a year later on November 27th 2004, come back and defeat his most bitter and fierce rival to win his third world title. That's exactly what Marco Antonio Barrera did this last weekend when he won a 12 round majority decision over WBC super-featherweight champion Erik Morales. [details]

History Against Barrera In Rematch With Pacquiao

Sometimes history is just what it is, history! MAB and Morales just bring out the best in each other. These are two guys who lay it on the line everytime. With that being said, styles makes fight and this is why a Pacman-MAB rematch could turn out to be either a great showing for MAB or another destruction for Pacman. Oscar De La Hoya said the Pacman win was a fluke! I differ differently, you don't take a beating the entire fight (and the longer the fight went the worse it got for MAB) and call it a fluke. The ball is in MAB and his people's court for a big payday rematch. If they want a rematch, I find it hard to believe that Pacman would turn it down. I think what the boxing fans and public wanna see is a more competitive fight than the first time around. In my eye, MAB has nothing else to prove in boxing, he has been great for boxing for so long. I do believe if there's one thing he wants to prove to himself, it would be to defeat the man who dominated him in a way no one thought was possible or had every seen. If that happens, he should just sit back and reflect on a "Hall of Fame" career knowing that everything he's wanted to accomplish in boxing has been attained!Last edited by Mikie; 12-02-2004, 12:41 PM.

HYPE . . . HYPE . . . HYPE . . . yes it has started. A mega BUCK fight in the making. As I was saying NO MATTET WHAT . . . SOONER or LATER that rematch is bound to happen.
DLH and MAB giving out excuses about that devastating loss in the hands of PAC the first time will only put more pressure on themselves to go for a rematch. That"bad night" . . ."off night" . . . "not himself" stuff will only force team MAB to prove their claims
Let's get it on!

Was it Pac's workrate or MAB's loss of focus.
We have to know the answer and I really think that each fighter can make $1 Million to find out.
I am ready to see more of Pac, I just wish his fight this weekend was televised.
Maybe it will show up in the downloads section.
