I was just curious, in this day and age where contracts involve who's name is put first or larger on the marquis, and etc. If Mosely or Mayweather will enter the ring first.

Has there been any instances in the past where the challenger entered the ring last?

You're probably on to something there, even though if ricky would have won that i don't think it would have vaulted him to p4p#1, people were still unsure of manny at the time.

That's right. I believe Jim Lampley asked Hatton before the fight why he was making his entrance first even though he's the champion. He said "He's the P4P King and thats what I'm fighting for".

"traditionally" the fighter with the title that is being defended will walk last and be introduced last, however it is not an official rule or anything, so it is something that can be negotiated in the contract.

In unification bouts, usually one champion walks last, and the other champion will be introduced last.
