WOULD HAVE KILLED> Make sure you understand the difference.

Sanders couldn't beat John Ruiz at this stage. Vitali ruined him and his confidence.

if you read between the lines here, Povetkins manager doesnt want him to fight Klitschko just yet...again. If Klitschko takes an optional, look for Povetkin to fight Peter for the interim title. Watch and see...

But Sanders had some great advantages Haye won't have : height, southpaw stance (which was great for cancelling Wlad's jab), and an edge in power probably.
Sanders had faster hands and a monsterous southpaw straight left. I don't think there was a faster single shot in heavyweight boxing around the time Sanders was throwing that thing.

Overall, Haye is just as skilled as Sanders and is more athletically gifted. The issue was chin and power and Haye would have been sparked cold by Sanders at his peak.

Actually, thats a great fight. The winner out of Arreola and Adamek vs. Povetkin to see who deserves the shot. Great boxing idea.

It's not a great boxing idea. Povetkin is the mandatory and has been for some time. He doesn't need to prove himself worthy by fighting Adamek or Arreola, he just needs the confidence to step in the ring and fight Wlad. His lack of confidence is embarrassing for someone with such an extensive amateur background and professional record. He's fought and beat Byrd and Chambers.

That being said, I still think Arreola has better power and would beat Povetkin.

Povetkin needs to step up,he has 3 good wins:Estrada,Chambers and Byrd.
But the 2 last guys couldn't handle a candle to Wlad.

He only has fought few short good fighters, and bums.
He needs to wait one more year and fight tall guys a lil bit.

He isn't ready for Klit because he barely beat Chambers and Estrada, his manager is a ******.

I would think that this is the influence and opinion of Teddy Atlas. His guys are NEVER quite ready, Something to do with his "psychollergising " them. He'd like to take 5 years to "analyse" them, then teach them that Papa Teddy is the fountain of knowledge and skill, and only HE is all powerful enough to indoctrinate his "students" or acolytes with the great skills they need.

Then, after they lose a couple of fights, he's no longer the guru, and no longer interested.
