Why do Paul Williams fans hate Margarito so much?

It certainly is odd.Whether it's boxingscene or one of the Hip Hop forums,they all seem to dislike Antonio Margarito so much.


You would think that Paul Williams fans(all fourteen) would have some respect or atleast appreciate the man who actually gave your hero some sort of credibility.Sure all Williams did was slap Margarito's gloves and lose virtually every round after the sixth,but the the judges give it to him and he became relevant.



Are you insecure over the fact that Margarito was the true "most avoided man in boxing" while Paul Williams was and always will be a generic hypejob with the charisma of a wet,soggy sandwhich?

Insecure that Margarito is still an attraction and being lined up for big fights and major paydays while Williams will continue to fight infront of thirty odd people while picking up meager earnings all the while ducking Kelly Pavlik?



I think it's about time you lads show a little respect.You won't show any respect for Paul Williams "daddy" in Carlos Quintana.The least you could do is give respect to the man who is the only reason Paul Williams does have fourteen fans

Slapping an opponents gloves and outworking him to a very close decision in which many of the media covering the fight scored it a draw or in Margarito's favour is hardly dominating.

It was Williams who ducked a rematch with Margarito.Williams chose to defend his title against Quintana,whom he regarded as a far easier option rather than an immeditate rematch with Margarito.Williams would go on to be brutally exposed and suffer a terrible beating in losing to a hand picked opponent.


Margarito had no interest in Margarito until he became king hot**** after beating Cotto.Margarito rightfully told him to **** off.
