To be top 10 ATG you have to beat ATGs...There are too many great fighters in that list...He is in my top 50-55 but beating a dead corpse in Jones Jr now doesnt do anything for him at this point, infact it does nothing for him.

David Haye win would be good if Haye established himself at Heavyweight, im a Haye fan but I know he hasn't done that yet, and hopefully it starts from a knockout victory or dominant win over Ruiz, Haye just won the HW title in his last fight in a close decision over Valuev.

Hopkins needs to beat Chad Dawson and a Klitschko to be in the my top 30-40 as his best wins have been over guys smaller than him (Oscar, Tito, Wright, Pavlik) I give him credit for facing some guys that are his size or bigger in Prime Jones Jr, Calzaghe, Taylor and Tarver he lost most of these. Bottom line is, I want to see Hopkins face someone in his prime who is his size or bigger, and dominate the way he does.

If your going to fight at Heavyweight or Lightweight why not pick the best fighters in that weight class? (Klitschko and Dawson)

Bare in mind Dawson and Klitschko arent even ATG's, but Hopkins will deserve to move up in the list for beating good fighters in their primes who are similar size or bigger.

Cotto loses to 1 dimensional bums like Margarito. His only notable win is over Shane Mosley. At this point Cotto isn't even close to a hall of famer.

Corrales for starters is a better win than anyone Hop beat. Floyd has a solid resume. There ain't nothing wrong with being in the top 100 fighters of all time. Boxing has been going strong for nearly 150 years.

Hmmmmm. Really. Hopkins would of won more title at more weights, and I think thats going to far saying he had much better wins. Like to compare?

This is including if he beats Haye and Jones also.

            Hopkins's resume of wins.
            John David Jackson
            Glen Johnson
            Simon Brown
            Felix Trinidad (40-0)
            Oscar De La Hoya
            Antonio Tarver
            Ronald Wright
            Kelly Pavlik
            David Haye
            Roy Jones Jr

Thats a damn impressive resume of wins. And Conn's is no way much better.

That's fine and I agree. You're the one draging Miguel into it, I never said he was greater than HOP.

His accomplishment is nothing to sneeze at either. 20 title defenses, unified undisputed mw champ, skipped a weight-class to LHW to beat the champ. Plus his resume as a MW is not that much behind Marvin Hagler resume. Where do you rank Hagler?

Corrales? Homie, you have to be kidding. RIP but Coralles is overrated as hell. Trinidad, Wright, Tarver, and even Pavlik are all better than he was. Correles is not an ATG and should not even be a first ballot hall of famer.
