Wlad vs. Tua a definite possibility in the near future.

Looking at the WBOGus rankings, Wlad's mandatory was Chambers then Povetkin. With Chambers out of the way and Povetkin running scared, Wlad could choose Tua as the next available mandatory. Do you think Wlad would fight Tua, and is Tua a threat? (Assuming Tua wins his next fight.)

tua has power, but is slow and wlad would just jab him all day..... tua has a great left hook, but wlad also has a great left hook as well, and a good straight right...

It could play out a lot like Tua vs. Lewis although Tua did connect on Lewis with a couple of shots that would rattle Wlad's game plan, and I also think Tua could get to Wlad easier than he could Lewis.

I could potentially see Tua backing Wlad against the ropes and ending it.

true, but that was ten years ago, tua has power, but i dont think he could get inside wlad.. he doesn't have much speed..

and wlad has became a better fighter than he was years ago, i think he is in his prime right now...

but i think tua needs to fight some good people before a title shot povetkin, maybe chambers

Tua has the power to put Wlad to sleep but I don't think he can get past that long jab....if he wants to win a title he should go after the winner of Haye/Ruiz

Tua is WBO Asia champion, he is one or 2 fights away from being Wlads mandatory, but Wlad will try palm him off on Vitali or Haye

To someone who know's how to fight him, Tua is NEVER threat.

Wlad would use the very same technique on Tua that Lennox used on Tyson.

Both are the taller men fighting the shorter ,VERY hard punching opponents. Use the jab to keep them at bay and nail them with the right hands when the opportunity arises.
