He is not all that promising and when he steps up the competition he is going to get dropped. He should watch Hatton fight Tzsyu this weekend and take notes on what happens when you fight stiffs for years and then suddenly get a shot at the champ.

I don't know if he will become a great fighter but I think the way it's going he could become a major superstar even if he is just a good fighter. I think the reason he is fighting stiffs is because he doesn't have much experience. One thing I can say is that he puts his punches together very good.

He does look like the Karate Kid!

          Except a little gayer.

you realize you are comparing a 19 year old kid with no amateur experience with Ricky Hatton right??.....

That's exactly the reason. Not to mention the fact that he needs to increase his win count. No mystery to it really.

But as far as being an indestructible force in boxing? Who knows? We'll just wait and see.

But he shouldn't be following his father's footsteps as he always says. He should try to build his own legacy, and not be a carbon copy of his father, because that may prove disasterous.

Oh don't worry about that, I am not compairing the two of them. Even after Ricky is destroyed by Kostya he will have had a much more full and worthwhile career then Junior. Hatton actually has some talent, whereas Junior is just boxing garbage riding off of daddy's name. Biggest joke since Hector Camacho Jr.

hahaha you should not be hating like that man.
im not saying JCC jr is good because its too early, but you really cant call him garbage either soo soon you should wait and see. calling a 19 year old with no amateur experience "garbage" is just plain old hating ...

OK, perhaps I am hating. But pass me the haterade, because this kid just gets under my skin (and that is not hard to do). He has a famous name so he is getting on big PPV cards and getting lots of attention. He has an undefeated record but has just been knocking out stiffs. It just irratates me. So consider me guilty on this one I guess.
