Really Burner??? I am no fan of Haye, nor the klitch's...but to challenge (call out) any one of those HWs is pretty impressive. Haye is a younger, bigger, stronger fighter than Hopkins. IMO it would be VERY interesting to see how Hopkins does with a fighter with those advantages. I am not sure if Hopkins could win, but I wouldn't put it passed him to pull off an upset. Also he would be squashing the "he only picks on smaller fighters" stigma he's developed over the years.
Hopkins scared of Wlad? Cherrypicking Haye?

I don't think he's so much ducking the Wlad or Vitali as he sees an easier opportunity to get a HW belt by fighting a guy more his size, who he thinks he can beat, who is also a draw.
I'd love to see Bhop try against the Klitschkos but i think they're too big, have too much a reach advantage, and fight a really safe style which probably wouldn't favor Bhop as much as fighting HayeComment

Burner, Hopkins is just talking **** he won't even fight Dawson who has been calling him out since 06 and now you think he is going to fight a young fast HW with the power to stun a 7000lb yeti?
Besides he has business to attend to, but you musta forgot.Comment

You're kidding, right?
Hopkins, at 45, even making the move to Heavyweight to fight a decent contender would be a big risk, a big, young, fast powerful guy like Haye? He's taking a huge risk if he goes for that fight. When Jones went to heavyweight, in his prime, even he didn't go for Lewis, the top dog. He went for Ruiz, a respectable opponent and a huge risk, but he wasn't looking for Lewis...Comment

yep....fight night, were talking about a 60 lb. weight advantage.
it'd be more impressive to beat one of the klits, but you can't shake your head at hopkins fighting haye.
huge step up from roy j j.Comment
