Everyone Knew Hatton Was ****, and Would Be Ko'd by Mayweather?

I argued for like 20min at the barbershop when the fight was being hyped..this guy said outloud.."Hatton's gonna KO Mayweather..he's too strong on the inside..and will wear Mayweather out"

I was like WHAAAT?!...dude looked at me like he wanted to punch the **** outta me..and I was like.."HELL NO!..don't be suprised if Mayweather lays this dude out!...cuz Collazo almost dropped his ass and was saved by the bell in the last round!"...

then him and his buddies called themselves "laughing at me" claiming Mayweather couldn't knock **** out..and that Hatton beat Tszyu..I was getting annoyed so I just said.."Ok..We'll see"..

too bad I never got to see them again..I bet they wouldn't have said **** else about boxing around me...bastards!..

lmao..this is why I always take bets with my casual boxing fan friends..they dont know enough and get caught in the hype..

i don't discredit it all, when i watch the fight i wonder why floyd retreats so much though and just doesn't knock him the fucck out in the first 6 like he should have, then again i wonder how a WW doesn't KO a lightweight as well. I respect floyd's skill as much as anyone but if the guy is damn good he should be knocking guys like JMM out and not playing it safe. same goes for the hatton fight, even though he go the KO, it took him 10 against a smaller guy who constantly comes forward somewhat recklessly. all i am saying here is floyd is great he should fight with more balls especially against the guys like ricky and JMM that really had no chance in the first place.I don't mine that style when you need it to beat a very good fighter, but against the lesser guys or smaller guys, there is no need. Ali didn't spend 6 rounds rope a doping a guy he could KO with his offense alone.

I said it was a good fight for Mayweather, he outclassed Hatton.

I think the issue at the time was the ref, Cortez if you remember.

Maywetaher and Hatton was a good fight, however at 147 Hatton was about on Collazo's level.

both were undefeated fighters...obvs since hatton beat Tsyzu everyone then though he could beat mayweather after all the other guys he fighted and beated after he face Tszysu

I thought Floyd was going to win easy. I gave Hatton zero chance of winning the fight. I thought Floyd was cherrypicking myself. But, I didin't think Floyd was going to KO him.

I don't really give credit to Floyd for winning but I give him a lot of credit on how he won. I really didn't think he will KO Hatton.
