If Miguel Cotto wants to beat Yuri Foreman he better...

    ...Practice on clinching!!..

Foreman is TOO big and too mobile for Cotto to be trying to chase him down the entire fight..

Miguel Cotto's gonna have to go back to the Cotto-of-old and dig in to that body..and be rough with short power punches and not let Foreman get a momentum going where he's getting pot shotted...

    ...........................

this is a very dangerous fight for Cotto at this point in his career..I just hope and pray he gets a solid corner..but even then..I'm not sure what Cotto's got left...I wanna say it was Plaster..but there's no proof..and I wanna say weight (145lb) but he said he felt fine..so I can't make excuses for the man..he's just gotta put pride aside and get his team sorted out..and stop listening to "Yes-Men"...

I'm still 50/50...I'm unsure who's gonna win..but believe it or not..I'm starting to slightly favor Foreman in this match-up

for what reason are you favoring foreman? i dont see how a guy like foreman who doesnt come forward with an all out pressure style or have a big ko punch can beat cotto unless miguel is shot.

Cotto's best attributes are stalking and overpowering his opponents..

Name 1 slick boxer besides Malignaggi that Cotto has fought..Quintana?..he decided to trade with Cotto..because he thought Cotto was the smaller guy coming from 140lbs..

I guarantee Yuri won't make the same mistake..He's gonna jab and potshot Cotto..and keep his distance..no doubt Foreman has some good footwork..and his foot speed is very good as well..

Cotto can't bully and overpower Foreman..he's at a size disadvantage here..so like I said..Cotto better clinch and work the inside, especially the body..I'm not too sure how Cotto's power is gonna hold up at 154..his power didn't seem to do **** to Pacquiao, Clottey, Mosley, or Margarito..and to some (not me)..he questionably lost all 4 of those fights..

if steward is indeed training him, they better work on moving to his right and putting some pop on that right cross (which happens to be a steward specialty). otherwise foreman will circle to cotto's right all night.

I'm sorry but Santos looked like he downed a fifth of Vodka before the fight..he did not look himself the entire fight!..I'm not sure if it was him or Yuri making him look that bad..

                    I don't know about clinching.

What Cotto needs to do is commit to the body, wear Foreman's legs down and khtfo.

he can't win a decision against this guy.
