Floyd wanted it 14 days and Manny wanted it 21 days. 7 days was the difference why they didn't fight.

But in my opinion. By the time Floyd came back after the arbitration with his 14 days, Manny was already fed up and had it in his mind that Floyd didn't want to fight. It would have been better for Floyd to counter with the 14 days sooner when the iron was still hot. But he waited too long.

idk u so i don't like 2 talk about people if idk them but it sounds like your a floyd fan, its kinda hard 2 get thru 2 ya some of ya sometimes. Floyd agreed 2 fight him right, then when pacquiao agreed, he came out of nowhere with the drug testing demands. That in ways was an insult 2 pacquiao's accomplishments, im sure you would have felt the same way had you been in manny's shoes. I also didn't think he wanted 2 fight pacquiao in the 1st place.

i cant agree with "beating these guys down".... Safely wins by decision with no killer instinct, yes.... Mayweather is a master technician, but lets not kid ourselves... Floyd asking for the test is changing the rules but pac asking for 10 mil over every pound isnt???? No its just pac stating the terms on which needs to be met in order for him to fight just like floyd did with the test. Floyd could have made the argument that 10 mil for every pound over was to much and make it 5mil or make it lower but he didnt he just agreed because in order for him to get the fight he had to do it because that was a demand of his opponent very simple and very logical...

the 10 mil per pound was obviously to deter floyd from disregarding rules to gain an advantage... i found it absurd that instead of making weight against a fat marquez, he bought himself another advantage... either way, marquez was there for a paycheck, why do you think he accepted the side money....

I can't believe you all are still missing the point. Manny never said he will not take the test. HE WILL TAKE THE TEST! Any test. Your forgetting that he has taken hundreds of test, blood, urine and NEVER EVER TESTED POSITIVE!!!

The only thing he ask for is for it not to be close to the fight. He blames his first loss to Morales because he had to take a blood test 1 day before that fight and he said he felt weaker. He doesn't want that to happen again.

It's not about Manny not taking the test. It's WHEN he will take it. He took a blood test 20 days before the Clottey fight. Mayweather wants it up to the fight.

If they can just agree to how many days before the fight they will take the test, THEN WE WILL HAVE A FIGHT!
