Most likely Pakistanis in the US aswell as some loyal Britsh fans will be there.

Amir has been spotted with Pacquaio and Roach so that must have helpoed get his name out aswell as GBp being a top company
There are a lot of New Yorkers that are boxing fans in general. Also it is like doing the fight in London, Vegas, etc, after the fight there is a lot to do here and to see. Amir will have his fans here, but even when a fighter is from NY he not always get the support of the fans. Judah vs Cotto is a good example.

Amir can't be compared to Naz cause Naz accomplished much more before he came to the US. Lot of ppl besides his fans wanted to see him live and what he was all about cause he had so much buzz going around him

I don't think it bothers khan if Paulie is the main attraction and selling majourity of the tickets. But around 70,000 of the NY's population are of pakistani descent, not to mention the british population.

Khan has already sold a 22,000 seater arena so thats 3K more than MSG. His last fight he sold 10K arena on his own against Salita. So I have no idea how you can even say that Khan isn't big in UK :/ remember the population in UK is only 60million compared to the US, which has 300million.

Everytime I listen/read an interview of other top 140lbs i.e. Alexander/Bradley all u hear is, 'We want khan' even though he hasnt even had a fight in the US. He's already a pretty well known, trust me he'll be a huge star in the US if he keeps winning in good style.

2010-2020 is the decade of Khan.

good post. Also, bradly/ alexander have NEVER sold out any arenas. I don't even think they have had more than 3,000 people in their fights ever. They have never even been on PPV. Amir at the age of 23 is more well known than any other 23 year old boxer ever (the only young popular boxers I can think of are Tyson and Naseem Hamed)....

Khan maybe the bigger draw than alexander and bradley, but that doesnt mean that hes a better boxer. Bradley has proven more, fought more known names and is better boxer than khan imo. As for alexander, he looks a great boxer with speed and great movement. I wouldnt rate khan in top 2 at 140lbs

Damn !! that was quick. is it because of Paulies fanbase in New York or Amirs fanbase?
Are you kidding me?
