No fighter should ever have to go in knowing he must knock a guy out to win. I hope they change the judges but if they dont, Then you just have to hope they will be fair and pick the right guy.

I dont think this is something to get angry about now though...

The deck is stacked against Arthur Abraham.

If the fight were in Germany, and they appointed a German ref and three German judges, Bernstein and Farhood would be whining and bitching all night.

But wait and see, they'll hardly mention it in the telecast and try to justify it.

That means Dirrell can run all night and still win a decision on the cards.

The home ref will protect Dirrell from Arthur, and perhaps deduct points from Abraham without a good reason. Dirrell will be permitted to headbutt, hold, rabbit punch and low blow as much as he wants.

The rules of the Super Six state that ALL four officials including the referee are to be from neutral countries. Not only are all four officials from the USA, they're all from Michigan.

If Abraham's promoter Sauerland has any good sense at all, he will pull Arthur out immediately.
points wont matter if Arthur catches dirrell with a clean punch like he did against jermain taylor

The ref might be Direll's next door neighbor for all we know. And why not? Ward had his faher-in-law to ref his fight with Kessler whereby he got away with all kinds of fouls. Heck maybe Dirells ref will penalize Arthur for punching Direll in the face.

The rules in the super six are as follows:

"Judges and referees is to be pointed out by the local athletic commision. However there must be one judge from each of the participants homecountry and the third judge must be neutral.

The referee must always be from a neutral country."

Why have these kind of rules when Showtime doesn't enforce them in America?

At the end of the day Showtime is American and gets the majority of it's income from US telecasts.

Exactly. Of course they'll be wanting the American fighter to win.

Well, If Dirrell goes 12 rounds he will have a victory in itself because almost everyone expects him to get knocked out. However i agree that the deck seems stacked against Abraham but you cant be sure of anything until it happens. Sometimes boxers go to other guys hometown and win every round. You really shouldnt go on and on before the fight has even started.

But reading all these comments just makes me more pumped for the fight.

                    I really cant wait.
