To be fair, he got what he deserved. He picked on a little guy, and screwed himself over by trying to make himself seem smaller than Pac. The result, Pac fucked him up.

De La Hoya's an all time favourite of mine, it was bad to see him go out that way, but I was rooting for him to lose just for pulling that **** instead of fighting Margarito...
