    Anyone else curious about Holyfield-Botha?

I admit I have a little interest in seeing how this fight goes, since Holyfield is still somewhat relevant (he arguably beat Valuev), and a win over Botha will probably encourage him to keep fighting for a world title, so at least I want to see how he looks against Botha.

He'll probably beat Botha. Holyfield is an ageless wonder physically, but his mind is not. Holyfield can still fight, but he shouldn't.

No. As a fan who loves the guy I really wish Holyfield would GTFO of boxing already. Never cared for Botha at all.

I agree, unless he has gotten (even more) old overnight since the Valuev fight, he should beat Botha handily, the bad part is that win will probably encourage him to go after Haye or the Klitschkos, fights where he could get hurt.

Co-sign; besides funds for his financial woes I can’t see what else would drive him to do this. This fight is slowly becoming a farce if it isn’t one already.

If he fought Wlad, I think that would be a bad situation.

Yeah, I know the winner of this fight is not going to be a threat or anything, I'm just saying I want to see how Holyfield looks since apparently he has said if he wins he's still going to keep fighting until he becomes world champion again, if he looks bad against Botha they should revoke his license for his own good.

I don't think Wlad would be sadistic enough to try to hurt Holyfield, he'll probably be content with winning a decision (at least I hope so), if the fight actually got made, which is a big IF.
