Thats my point everybody already knows Floyd is gonna sell more than Pacquiao so they need to stop tryna act like Pacquiao is some kind of cash cow and he can't even break a million buys Floyd average is a million buys

I think if that fight would of done 700k it would of been impressive since everybody was predicting Floyd-JMM to do 400-500k. So if it did 700k I think people would of said it was impressive. A mili was just out of this world.

Pac and Floyd are the cash cows nobody else bringing the moeny they bring. I don't think you guys really understand waht 700k really means like how hard it is to pull that number.

This is what happens when you fight Cotto 1.2 million buys. And then go fight the guy who just lost to Cotto after you destroyed Cotto=700,000 buys don't worry they'll try and make it look good by saying Manny did it all by himself lol. That's just a cover up. He wasn't in the ring by himself all night now was he? alright then. And didn't Arum say that Pacquiao-Clottey would sell as much as Pacquiao-Cotto? yeah he did. Pacquiao couldn't even crack a million. Well one thing is for sure. He can forget about a 50-50 split with Mayweather that is out the window. floyd is fighting mosley in a fight that has been talked about for years. pac fought clottey with barely any promotion and no 24/7. people never factor in the money that is sent on promoting floyd fights. against marquez, i am pretty sure it was one of the most marketed fights of all time, they pushed it back to mexican national holiday, and had it in movie theaters. but do you notice how at the fight, all the fans were mexican, and it still wasn't sold out. there are so many factors to consider when talking about who attracts more people, manny or floyd and who does better financially. for example floyd fought oscar and ricky in good economy, manny fought them in ***** economy. the marketing thing when comparing mosley and marquez to clottey is a huge factor. if floyd fights clottey with no 24/7 at dallas stadium i guarantee he does under 700,000 ppv's and sells less than 30,000 seat.

That said I am not super impressed with 700,000 for Manny, I mean it is good and he got 50k people there watching it but its not amazing. amazing would have been closer to a mil, which is pretty unrealistic but that's what i would have considered great. However, the event clearly met expectations or better and it did do very well considering it was clottey.

The only reason Floyd is going to double that is because he's fighting Mosley, a well known opponent. Not to mention theres going to be a HBO 24/7 series which Pacquiao didn't get. If Pacquiao vs Clottey was **** I could only imagine what Mayweather vs Clottey would of been, probably a replay of when Floyd fought Baldomir (don't bother you-tubing it, it's not worth it).

Man I don't want to hear about no 24/7 first off there wouldn't even be a 24/7 if it wasn't for Floyd Mayweather in case you forgot the show was his idea so if he sells more ppv because of it he suppose to that was the point of making the show Pacquiao was lucky he even got to use the show when he did that's Floyd Mayweather show and another thing Floyd did a million with Marquez the same night as the UFC if the UFC wasn't on that night Floyd probably would have sold more than Pacquiao-Cotto if the UFC was on when Pac fought Clottey it would have did like 400k I mean Pacquiao is not a bigger star than Mayweather he's not Floyd is the face of boxing

There was no 24/7 because hbo didn't wanna waste money on a bum fight. Noone wanted to see Pacquiao-Clottey. This was apparent when they first started talking about it. It sounded like a good idea because they thought all Mayweather had was M. Hatton or Paulie and it backfired. So stop crying. And don't act like Mosley is this big money maker either. Dont forget that before Berto pulled out they we're gonna fight on hbo for free and split 3 million dollars. And that was in a unification bout. Floyd doesn't even have a belt!! And stop talking about how many seats he sold at dallas stadiums first of all IT WAS A FOOTBALL STADIUM!!!! Not a casino in vegas. And the tickets we're like $50. Not that impressive. Oh so Floyd is gonna sell because he fighting Mosley? Mosley is not even a ppv fighter he hasn't been on ppv if he was fighting anybody else it would be on boxing after dark but because he is fighting Floyd Mayweather its on ppv and everybody wants to see it all the fights in boxing today that people want to see has the name Mayweather in it if Mosley was fighting Pacquiao it wouldn't be as big as Mayweather-Mosley
