"The million buys was derived from 525,000 from cable homes and 475,000 from satellite homes."

There was an article after the fight that said Jerry Jones doubled Clottey's paycheck because of the big attendance number.

No it takes patience, mayweather waited to fight the best, pacquaio could've too, they ended negotiations in mid january, and mosley/berto was scheduled on the 30th of that month. So if pacquaio really wanted to fight the best he couldve waited, but what happen was that according to *******s chicken floyd wasn't suppose to take such a hard fight, thats where your argument fall's short

lol, good point now hear mine. when negotiations fell apart it was only 3weeks later that mosley and berto were scheduled to meet. So why not wait to see who wins. Isn't that what you *******s are arguing against mayweather, that when mayweather came out of retirement he chose to fight Marquez instead of waiting for the winner of the Pacquio/Hatton winner. WHy couldnt manny do the same thing, its not like he had to wait 4 months, you guys can't fool me, Pacquaio already had his opponents lined up for the door, like they were just waiting for mayweather to reject them. During the negotiations correct me if im wrong, Arum was trying to get Pac man to move up and fight Yuri Foreman at 154lbs, this was before the may/pac negotiations fell apart. Point im trying to make is that all you *******s seem to be running out of excuses as to why pacquaio bitched out. Mayweather waited because he wanted to fight the next best available opponent, but Pacquaio so no, needles please, so he waited and has a harder fight. BUt thanks, i only made to comparison to see if i would get a fair response as to why mayweather was being called scared for not coming out of retirement after the hatton/pacquiao fight. But manny get's a pass for not waiting on the Berto/Mosley winner, and picking a guy who lost his last fight. Thanks for helping plead my case, just another pac fan who's running out of arguments, like i didnt' know mosley/berto wasn't scheduled on Jan.30th. If he wanted to fight the best he would've waited, what they meant to say is that they wanted to fight the best that's suited for Pacquaio's style.

Pacquiao should be happy with 40% when he faces Mayweather. And that's Mayweather being generous. He'll be kicking himself in a few years for not taking the damned test when it was 50-50. Now, no way in hell Mayweather will give him 50% again, he'd have to be ****** and we all know he isn't.
Pacquiao had the chance for 50%, taking the bloodtest. He refused it. Now he'll have to take the test (ruling update which will force his cheating ass to retire, hope i'm wrong) and take 40%, STFU and be happy about it. Chances are Pacquiao is facing Margarito next....

He was guaranteed around $1 million dollar.

After the fight Jerry Jones being the generous person that he was double, Clottey's salary, because he was supposedly very ecstatic to have boxing in his new Stadium.

Clottey's final salary ended up around 3.5 Million

You are really reaching here. Where do you get your facts for your comments. It is my understanding that ppv's are calculated using data from cable and television sells. Theaters are a separate venue.
