What does people paying to see him lose, and him not being the underdog have anything to do with each other?

You are talking about fans, and vegas betting odds.

i disagree with the bold part. there are betters in the audience, but they do not compose even close to the majority.

also, you can bet on a fighter and not be a fan of them. only ****** gamblers bet emotionally. most gamblers TRY to make educated decisions with their money.

I don't agree with this statement completely. I think Floyd is great at selling a fight. He's a master promoter who gets casual fans interested in him. He goes for shock value by coming off as an A hole. Any publicity is good publicity for Floyd. Aside from Floyd fans, most people want to see someone shut him up. He relies on creating interest before the fight. That is his main selling point.

People pay to see Manny because he's the polar opposite. His selling point is much like Mike Tyson's: they pay to actually watch him fight and win. Unlike Mike, he is humble, he's quiet and shy, yet he fights like his life depends on it. He brings action and drama IN the ring.

People who like to see him lose is not equal to those who thinks he's gonna lose. For example: I Chups would like to see Floyd lose but when betting my money, I'm going for Floyd because he is a great fighter. In fact a lot of posters have insisted on betting their points against me but I refused. May will win against Mosley on May 1.
