And it is real debatable on just how world class Macc's jaw was. And all those fights were at cruiserweight. So, it is my opinion that it is still an unanswered question on just how much power Haye brings to the heavyweight division. Because bouncing Barrett off the canvas four or five times proves little. Since that has been a pretty common occurrence in Monte's career even against fighters that were not known for their power.

he stopped mormeck with one clean shot in round 7
fragomeni was knocked down then his corner pulled him out
he knocked bonin out in the first round in his first fight at HW
oh and by the way,he wobbled a guy who was 7'2 and 23 stone, with his weaker hand

Haye is odds on the knock Ruiz out at the bookies. and I will be putting some cash on that one as the fight is going to look like Jones Ruiz two except with double the power!!!

Because he hit him with a clean punch? And there was no doubt that Haye stung him and I also never said Haye does not have power, did I? I said I believe that it is overrated. With that said. I have never seen such a big deal made out of one fighter wobbling another fighter. Is that what the London newspaper headlines said the day after the fight, "Haye Wobbles Valuev"? I mean many have made it sound like Valuev was ready to go down when in reality he stumbled and was throwing punches back within four seconds. But I guess that is what Haye fans would focus on because sadly it was the only highlight of the entire boring ass fight. With that said. I will admit that the only two Valuev fights I have watched were the Holyfield and the Haye fight, and that was two to many. And who knows maybe Valuev does not even have a good chin and because of his enormous size that possibly it really has never been tested.

He hit Mermeck with a body shot that hurt him and he followed it up with about four five punches that hit him pretty clean and then put him down with a punch to the side of the head.

As I stated Fragomeni went out on his feet and he is about one the easiest fighters to hit. And if anything I believe Haye should be grateful that the Italian has only what 10 ko's in 25 or 30 fights or that night might have ended badly for Haye. Because Haye was getting tagged cleanly and often by a very old fighter.

I was not even going to mention Bonin but figured why not.
Bonin has over 40 fights and he is still fighting in scheduled 6 round fights. And because I was talking about world class fighters that is all that needs to be said about him.

As far as Valuev is concerned please read my other post that I answered about him so I don't have to repeat myself. And I guess that it is obvious that I am no Haye fan but I still say his power is overrated. And it it is not like he has John Mugabi type power or even Wlad type power. And I also believe that Haye's power at heavyweight is still unknown. And he may very well answer the question when he fights Ruiz. Because unlike the Valuev fight Haye will not be able to use the Holyfield strategy of throw a few punches and run the rest of the round. Because you can say what you want about Ruiz but I am sure that Haye will have to actually fight him. And therefore Haye will have the opportunity to prove just how much power he has brought with him to the heavyweights.
