    Doesn't GBP support Mayweathers demands?

Is it a double standard? He claims to be the "face of boxing" and is "cleaning up the sport"

How come Floyd Mayweather is not being consistent with his crusade and not demanding OST for his undercard?

    Floyd is not the promoter.

This is not "his" undercard. Its GBP's.

There are no contractual "Mayweather promotions" fighters. Not even Floyd.

Floyd cannot demand something from fighters he has no contract with.

I hope this wasnt too hard to understand.
it's not just GBP promotion thats hosting this fight, mayweather promotion is also for mayweather is under his own promotions. now GBP has sided mayweather all throughout the negotiations, supported what mayweather had brought to the table from the day it started and still all behind it. if they supported what mayweather had insisted, shouldn't all their fights go through the same procedure they have supported?

all GBP fighters should go through all the testings since they support it. they should set an example of what they have been trying to do all along.

The testing isn't exactly cheap. It's still not excuse for Pacquiao to duck Mayweather.

They just supported the OST because they want Pacquiao/Top Rank to look bad. But now they're separating themselves from the Mayweathers because of the lawsuit Pac was hitting them with.

how is that an excuse? im all for the testing and it should be done to all fighters. i was just saying if they are trying to set examples of cleaning the sport to prove the sport is clean, shouldnt the undercards go under the same procedure? it'd by hypocritical to support something and not go through with it.

            no

its Golden Boy's card to run not Mayweather Promotions.

Mayweather Promotions does have one fighter fighting on that card in Cornelius Lock and I am assuming Jesse Vargas may be on the non TV portion but it is all Golden Boy running the show

now GBP has sided mayweather all throughout the negotiations, supported what mayweather had brought to the table from the day it started and still all behind it.
dude that's what they are supposed to do what is your point?

they were hired on to do the negotiations for Mayweather what did you expect for them to stop and tell Mayweather "hey stop being an ass and just sign the contract"? Trust me I know more people at GBP than any other promotional company and while they respect Mayweather they won't be having sleep overs any time soon.

if they supported what mayweather had insisted, shouldn't all their fights go through the same procedure they have supported?
what makes you think they aren't working on a process for that? What makes you think they haven't called CSAC and NSAC about the possibility of expanding their drug testing?

it wasn't lip service everyone at GBP has said they hope to get a better system in place and support what the NYSAC is thinking about doing

okay so GBP is running the show, mayweathers promotion is just a part of it.

i expected exactly what they were expected to do, and thats supporting mayweather and what he had brought to the table. obviously, you are missing the point.

if the undercards aren't going through the same process, i do wonder if they are working on it or not. THEY support the OST, all their fighters should go through it.

                You still dont get it?

Floyd and his team are not promoters. They dont even have a promoter's license in Nevada. They are just there in name to get a cut of the promoters paper.

NONE of the fighters on the undercard have a contract with Mayweather Promotions.

                This is a GBP show.

Mayweather himself said he wants to clean up boxing. Not GBP. Floyd cannot legally ask for anything of the fighters on the undercard because he HAS NO CONTRACT WITH THEM.
