Fighting and beating Mayweather would enhance his legacy certainly. Whether he takes or doesnt take a test that no one else in boxing takes will be irrelevent as time goes by.

better for floyd's legacy: should not have asked the tests or should have just agreed to dance in the ring with pac on the canvass?

factor in that team fraud should never even have insulted pac's KTFO wins.

With regards to your question, NEITHER.

It 50 to 100 years, when random testing will probably be the standard, people won't look at Manny's accomplishments and say "too bad it happened before random testing became norm".

No, they're gonna say that this guy is the first to win 4 lineals and the first to win 7 divisional titles and is considered to be one of the best who ever laced them up.

Manny did not refuse or fail any boxing commissions' test and therefore did nothing illegal on his way to creating one of the most impressive careers in boxing history.

Now, if the commissions adapt random testing, and I hope they do soon, and Manny refuses or fails a tests prior to a fight, then his legacy will definitely come into question. But if he retires prior to random drug testing being implemented as the standard, his legacy will be intact. He will just be regarded as the last exception.

Baseball does it all the time. Before spitballs were banned oldtime HOF pitchers built legacies on it and their names are still there.

Not taking the test simply leaves question marks, whether you like it or not.

Why didn't he take the test? Was he a PED user? What if this was all a mirage?

Passing the test, win or lose against Floyd, at least silences doubts about the legitimacy of his career, even if he can't cut it against Floyd.

So then why will Pac and Co. not agree to the testing? People won't forget about this whole ordeal, and it will be in their minds right or wrong.

I know what I would do. If I have nothing to hide, I'd agree to the testing, clear my name, and take a $50 million dollar paycheck in the process. But if you have something to hide, it makes the decision harder, right?

Whether Floyd and Co. slandered Pac is irrelevant. So is any lawsuit that Manny wants to file. What matters is public perception. And in the court of the public, the jury is still out, until Manny mans up and takes the tests.
What if Manny CAN'T possible pass the random testing? What's the second best option? Exactly...

Pac's legacy is Pac's legacy regardless of the tests.

Pac has not tested positive before. Gave both blood and urine for these tests.

Gave blood 21 days before the fight with Clottey...was it POSITIVE?

Only morons would really believe that Pacquiao is juicing.

It's a shame the the Mayweather's need to do this kind of drama to make them look they know ****.

The truth is that USADA have not yet detected HGH in the past 3 years of Olympic testing, how confident are they when they are funding a URINE test for HGH?

Has Manny EVER FAILED a drug test will all his previous test???? The answer is NO!

What you all people STILL don't understand is, Manny has no problem with taking any test out there because he knows he will come out clean like he always have. He has taken hundreds of test in the past. The most recent was a blood test 20 days before the Clottey fight.

The only thing he ever ask for is for it not to be close to the fight. Like I mentioned before. He blamed his 1st lost to Morales because he felt weak taking a blood test 1 day before the fight.

With the negotiations with Mayweather, he originally agreed to do the blood testing at the start of training camp, 30 days before the fight, and 1 right after the fight.

So the question is, is not why don't he just take the test because he will take the test, IT'S WHEN!!!

Do you know who requested Manny to stop fighting already? It's his mom. Do you know that Filipinos have great respect to their parents?

I think you better get your facts straight before saying those word.
u guys need to leave this Filipino's pride, value, and morality thing alone. Everyone has respect for their parents. This is making Manny look real bad....and i am pretty sure his mom been telling him to stop fighting every since he took up the sport, so why use it as an excuse now? Your parents prob told u marriage before sex also....did u listen?

passing the test and beating floyd helps big time, not taking the test doesnt add or take away anything, passing the test and losing to floyd will lead to 100s of threads saying manny couldnt win without taking PEDs
