Both fighters have a big chance of winning against the other. Its still a 50/50 fight for me.
I lose all respect for Floyd if he leaves it to decision.

I think he has a solid shot. Pacquiao has a great chin, footwork, combos, and the ****er is fast. His work rate is unbelievable, and his punches will hurt you. I give him more of a chance then Shane Mosley. I don't see why people give Mosley a better chance because Mosley doesn't have legs anymore. He can't chase Floyd all night without tiring. Pacquiao can. Mayweather is a nightmare though, and i'd give props to whoever beats him. His style is just impregnable, his defense is ferocious. he wants you to eat his punches

Because it's not a smart bet, a smart bet is Mayweather to win that fight, styles make fights and it is what it is... even though Pacquaio is better for boxing and I like watching him fight more than I like watching Mayweather fight, it is what it is
why is it that the very thought of mayweather losing a fight 2 any1 let alone pacquiao is viewed as an insult & draws a massive public outcry by mayweather fans? an all time great can lose 2 a good fighter on any given night. in boxing, football & college basketball, its 1 fight or game & thats it. no best of 7 like baseball, hockey & the NBA. & for 1 night an all time great team can lose 2 a good team. tom brady & the patriots losing 2 eli & the giants is a perfect example. look at kansas in the ncaa tournament losing 2 nouthern iowa. take it 2 boxing, same **** can happen.

First of all noone is ducking someone, in boxing someone is ducking something.
Boxing is a business, more like a partnership...if you see a partner not good for your business why make business with him?

now with P4P#3, he is old and past prime..but he proved himself as a formidable opponent to anyone infront of him in the ring, he's big and has power and speed.

The P4P#2? IS A FREAKIN' LIGHTWEIGHT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! GET OUT OF HERE! HE SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN A TUNE-UP FOR A WW TO BEGIN WITH!

If only I had billions of dollars I'd kidnap Floyd and Pac, build a cage and let those 2 fight in there at gunpoint. now that would be a great fight.

As for the thread question, yes, Pacquiao can beat Mayweather. It's a close fight but he can outwork him.

                  Yes, yes he can.
                  Will he?
That's why they have the contest. To actually find out.

I have never seen a fighter with so many fans who would rather their fighter won in theory than actually step in the ring and take care of business.

I'd like to see PBF destroy decent but non-Pac fighters.
I enjoy seeing Pac destroy non-PBF fighters.

Sure, a tight contest is more thrilling but if a fighter's good I am happy to see them use their talents in any forum.

I really struggle to not let Floyd fanatics put me off Floyd.

but IMHO, if the fight ever happens, I can put on a years savings on PAC beating mayweather ...
