Boxing fans are aware that Manny is retiring soon, so we're enjoying the ride while it lasts, fighters of his caliber come across once every great while, he really is a modern day cinderella man. So yes boxing fans do care that he is going to retire soon, but we're aware of it, and as a boxing fan you know fighters come and go. As a boxing fan you do care when a fighter retires but you also respect the decision of a fighter when they decide to hang up the gloves.
