These are 2 of my favorite boxers so for me its going to be difficult but it will be the smartest fighter that will win and we all know Mayweather is the smartest and skillful boxer in the whole world but Shane is smart to so who knows. I think Money has the edge in this fight due to his defense if Mosley is able to defend himself better than previous fights we could have a chess match if not May will emerge victorious

If Mosley's lay-off hasn't hurt him much, and the man realizes its one of his very last chances to solidfy an argument for the hall of fame or any such career accolades, he might be able to bring it. We know he's got some speed, decent pop, and is the possibly the best finisher in the game (Mosley never lets a guy ready to go get away) - so he's a very live opponent.
I think the assumption here is, because the goal was Pacquiao, that Manny presents - without a doubt- the biggest challenge or makes the best fight with Floyd. That's not necessarily true. Mosley is a quick boxer with better size than Pacquiao, who packs a good punch. When he was at his best - like against Oscar- he's looked very, very good.
I think the plot that's emerging for this fight is that Mosley was the pound for pound champ a few years back, on top of the world, and Mayweather was a rising star who probably wanted to emulate Shane. He never gave the kid a fight, though, and now Floyd is in the driver's seat and Shane is at the end of his career in very possibly his last fight.
Both men are motivated- and Floyd always brings it- but don't be surprised if Mosley throws everything he did into the Margarito into the fight with Mayweather, too. He might surprise some people.
Call me crazy but I expect Shane to drink the Hopkin's punch and look younger than he should. I expect him to display very good speed, some nice combinations, and good movement. I expect a quick, sometimes scrappy, boxing match that's quite a bit more exciting than most give Floyd's fights credit for being and I wouldn't be shocked if Shane was able to pull off a big upset of the younger, undefeated boxer.
That said- I think Floyd rises to the occasion having shown he's not quite done in the sport. I thought that last retirement might have signaled his passions having permanently shifted, but he obviously for whatever reason, hopefully not monetarily, he's going to fight a few more big names before he's done. There's nobody who boxes as well, and shows the type of fighter's intelligence Floyd has.
