being accurate is important but being a boxer means being a "fighter". I can't speak for everyone but when I pay for a PPV, I want to see a FIGHT. Throwing 30-40 punches a round and landing 40-50 percent doesn't mean **** when you're not hurting your opponent.

does a sniper need to unload 50 bullets to hit a target and get the job done? i think not. people who throws alot do it because they arent accurate or skilled enough to land their pin point shots. but thats why everyone has their own style. some have to be volume punchers to get the job done some can get it done with lesser punches.

There is no active fighter as skilled as Floyd & the stats prove it. When is the last time you saw Floyd leave out of the ring with bruises, black eyes, or busted ear drums?

Can you imagine if Mayweather had a one shot knock out power punch? Good Lord he would be dangerous...but he doesn't so he has to pop shot his way to boring victories. Besides Hatton with the help of a turn buckle when was the last KO for Mayweather? Most fans would rather see knockouts than boring accurate pop shots...why do you think people paid to see Mike Tyson in his prime? Because they knew they were going to witness a knockout. I have to take a 5 hour energy drink when I watch Mayweather fight

being a boxer, means you fight in the style of sweet science...fighters dont.

sweet science is to hit and not get hit
