Yeah you know what, to Wlad's credit, all the times that he has been knocked down, he got back up to his credit.

Actually Hayes loss to Thompson can be blamed more on stamina issues than chin problems, but things like the Mock knockdown have got to be taken to account.

Also Haye was floored by Barett, the kd punch was only flash but the follow up punch when haye was sitting down hurt haye, and it took him like 40 seconds to recover.

Every time Haye gets in the ring I can't just enjoy the fight, because you just know, one clean punch could end him.

To answer the thread I think vlad has a worse chin he has just got much better at protecting it, I haven't seen him take any real flush shots in a real long time
He took several flush shots against Sam Peter, and he didn't blink an eye. Be factual please.

Wlad has an ok chin really, he got up from them peter knockdowns that would of had Haye out cold.
Those "Peter Knockdowns" weren't knockdowns; if you'd listened to the accompanying commentary you'd have known that......maybe??

one was more a slip/push, one was at the back of the head, the other looked like a clean shot to me.

the back of the head and the clean shot would of had Haye on dream street.

david haye is british therefore he has a british chin like frank bruno, nassem hamed, herol bomber graham, amir khan............so yes he has a very delicate chin, if he grows his goatie too long it will take him down.

                your post is diabolical

Firstly: the peter fight was nearly 5 years ago, notice how I said recently in my post so wtf are you talking about

Second: Didn't blink an eye? That is laughable at best even if you don't count those knockdowns he was clearly staggered and hurt in those early stages and he was blinking plenty. To his credit he showed some heart and boxed his way through...but that doesn't excuse the fact that early on in that fight it looked like a strong gust of wind might blow him over

I was actually willing him to win that peter fight cos of how much **** he use to get on nsb and other boxing forums and I thought he was a better fighter than what he was given credit for, but I was worried he was gonna crumble under peter's attacks and I know a thing or 2 about being in the ring. So in future you speak factual and actually read someone's post clearly before you reply...you ridiculous idiot

naseem hamed didn't have a poor chin, every knockdown in his career was due to balance so get your facts right, the times he was wobbled his head cleared very quickly. How about the many...many great british fighters with good chins, i.e chris eubank, joe calzaghe, barry mcguigan...I could go on for a while but I think I have proved my point.
