The problem with this nonsensical logic is that Pacquiao would miss out on the biggest payday of his career also, so he would be shooting himself in the foot. Mayweather can fight anyone and make $10 million minimum. Manny can't!


By the way, this is a little off subject, but has anyone other than me noticed that it has been 10 days since the Pac/Clottey fight and HBO still has not released the PPV numbers. That tells me that the PPV was a real bomb, in spite of what Aurm claims.

At this point I don't want Floyd to make any money off of Pacquiao's name. He had his shot, but by him and his squad disrespecting Manny's home country and throwing the Philippines under the bus....I hope Arum, and Team Pac tell him to go **** himself.

Manny just made more than 10 millions fighting Clottey who is a no name. His numbers is similar to Hatton PPV buy, but he actually got a far bigger share along with money from Cowboys stadium. Judging from that how can you say pacquaio can't fight anybody and make 10 million.

How do you know what the PPV numbers were? Did HBO release them? Did I miss the story on that or are you basing your comments on what Bob Arum said? Bob Arum has no credibility and is known to lie on a regular basis. So please tell me where you got the information from that said Pac/Clottey's numbers were similar to Hatton's?

I knew Pac was going to contemplate retirement as soon as he considered election. Why are some people acting like this is new to them? He said the same thing in 2007.
